Go back to basics with this Kershaw Damascus Scallion plain edged blade knife. This is one beautiful knife of the ever popular series of Scallion knives. This one is a keeper! All of the Scallions are quite popular, but this one in particular features a damascus steel blade and a simple Tungsten DLC coated stainless steel handle. You’ll still love the industrial design and quality of this Scallion.

You’ll enjoy this very durable knife because it resists rust and keeps its edge for a long time. Plus it is super light at only 2.3 ounces. You’ll keep checking your pocket clip because you’ll think the knife fell out of your pocket!

The Scallion also offers an easy ambidextrous opening system that allows users to open the knife one handed. It’s great for eighties and lefties!

You’ll also enjoy the two safety features that make the new line of Kershaws very safe and convenient. The frame lock holds the blade into position after being fully opened. It’s easy to release with the press of a button. The Tip Safety Lock locks the blade into place after being folded down.

Locking Liner
Locks the blade into position after the blade is deployed. To release the locking liner simply press the spring loaded lock and the blade will easily fold back into the handle.

Tip Safety Lock
The tip lock available on many of the Ken Onion SpeedSafe models provides added security to assure that the blade will not deploy while clipped into your pocket.

SpeedSafe® is the patented, assisted opening mechanism pioneered by Kershaw that makes it fast and easy to open a knife one-handed. SpeedSafe also makes it possible for Kershaw to ensure that even a large blade can move out of the handle just as smoothly and easily as a smaller one. Plus, many of their assisted folders are ambidextrous—and open with a flipper or a thumbstud on both sides of the blade—so they’re just as easy to use left-handed or right. To open a SpeedSafe knife, the user must apply manual pressure to overcome the resistance of the torsion bar. This means that SpeedSafe knives do not meet the definition of a switchblade; they do not deploy with the push of a button or by gravity alone. Once open, the blade locks safely into position until the user releases it.
