Each of the 9500 Series Kitchen Block Sets comes with five knives, one sharpening steel rod, one set of shears and the hardwood block to store all the pieces in conveniently on the counter. There is a small paring knife, a utility knife, 6' chef’s knife, and a 8 inch slicing knife. Use the shears for cutting odds and ends in the kitchen or deboning a chicken for dinner.

All of the pieces are made from Germain 1.4116 stainless steel so they’ll stay super sharp for a long while. When they do get dull use the sharpening steel rod to sharpen the 16 degress edges (both sides) of your knives.
