The Kershaw Black Gulch Knife is one of Kershaw’s working line of blades. This knife was made to be used. Its classic folding knife design brings up echoes of the western rodeo days or a night riding through town on a motorcycle, wind in your hair and nothing will ever change. Things did change and this knife, at least, got better.

Its handle is edged in a Zinc die-cast alloy with a cross grooved ABS inlay. It’s a simple and classy look for this working knife of the ages. The blade is standard 8CR13MOV stainless steel. It resists rust and corrosion and is durable enough for heavy use. Included with the Black Gulch is a black nylon sheath.

For a little extra safety when using this knife, you’ll notice that the blade tip is quite sharp and pointed, Kershaw has included a Back Lock. The Back Lock locks the blade into place when fully opened so there is no slippage when in use. The Back Lock is easy to release by pressing the spring loaded lock and folding the blade back down into the handle.
