The Blur Knife from Kershaw and Ken Onion is an excellent blade to keep on hand. You can use it for many purposes involved in cutting your way through many kinds of materials. The Blur blade is Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel with a strong Tungsten DLC coating so that it will stay sharp much longer than other types and after a lot of abuse.
The handle is a decorative red color with accenting black in the form of easy grip Trac-Tec inserts to help you keep a firm hold on the knife even in wet or slippery conditions. It’s fairly lightweight at 4.2 ounces is also a decent length at about 7 inches fully opened.
The Locking Liner is featured on the Blur knife and it firmly holds the knife blade in place when fully opened. The Blur knife also features Kershaw’s patented SpeedSafe assisted-opening system with torsion bar. Simply press the thumb stud and the spring loaded blade will pop up for easy opening with one hand.
Locking Liner
Locks the blade into position after the blade is deployed. To release the locking liner simply press the spring loaded lock and the blade will easily fold back into the handle.
