1615 - Centofante from Kershaw and Ken Onion, Tungsten DLC Handle, Plain Edge Blade 

You’ll absolutely love the new Kershaw Ken Onion Centofante knife. This particular knife makes for a great addition to your knife collection because of its genuine pearl inlaid handle. However, you will have a hard time not using it since this knife is so small and easy to use.

The blade of the knife is plain edge made from Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel. Its handle is 410 polished stainless steel with a Tungsten DLC coating and the Pearl inlay. The knife altogether only weighs 2.4 ounces. That’s like two and a half paperclips in your pocket!

The clip also comes with a protective leather sheath just made to look good and keep your knife looking good.

Plus the Centofante features two safety systems that help make it an excellent knife. The Locking Liner which holds the blade into place when its fully opened, so there will be no slippage and the SpeedSafe assisted opening system which allows you to easily pop up the blade on a closed knife and slide it open using the index open system.

Locking Liner
Locks the blade into position after the blade is deployed. To release the locking liner simply press the spring loaded lock and the blade will easily fold back into the handle.

The Knife Features:

SpeedSafe®, the patented, assisted-opening system built into many of Kershaw's best-selling Ken Onion knives. SpeedSafe assists the user to smoothly open the knife with a manual push on the blade's thumb stud or Index- Open system. (Index-Open uses a protruding portion of the blade's finger guard to give the user an alternative to the thumb stud. The user manually pulls back on the protrusion with the index finger to open the blade.)

The heart of the SpeedSafe system is its torsion bar. Closed, the torsion bar helps keep the knife closed, preventing it from being opened by "gravity." In order to open the knife, the user must apply manual pressure to the thumb stud to overcome the resistance of the torsion bar. After the blade is out of the handle, the torsion bar moves along its halfmoon track and takes over. The blade opens smoothly and locks into position, ready for use.

This little knife is a gem.  It is small but so well made, like holding a work of art in your hand. This is my dress knife and anywhere I go with civilized fokes it goes with me.
