You’ll really enjoy this series of Chive knives from Kershaw and Ken Onion. They are all available with unique style options making them beautiful and excellent knives to place in that knife collection. Plus, their unique blade shape makes them a perfect multipurpose tool for cutting, slicing, dicing and piercing.
This particular Serrated Chive knife comes with a simple, yet bold 410 Stainless Steel handle and its blade is 420HC stainless steel. Both are left plain with light polishing for a very industrial appeal. It's durable, resistant to corrosion and a great knife to take on that next hunting or camping trip.
The Serrated Chive offers an effective and easy to use index opening system. Simply press and the knife pops up for easy one-handed opening. In addition, two safety features make the new line of Kershaw Chives a very safe knife indeed. The frame lock will hold your Chive blade into position after being fully opened. To fold the blade down you press a release button. The Tip Safety Lock will lock the blade into place after being folded down so it won’t pop open in your pocket.
Frame Lock
Locks the blade into position after the blade is deployed. To release the frame lock simply press the spring loaded lock and the blade will easily fold back into the handle.
Tip Safety Lock
The tip lock available on many of the Ken Onion SpeedSafe models provides added security to assure that the blade will not deploy while clipped into your pocket.
