The Kershaw Cyclone Serrated Knife is a great tool to have in the outdoors. This tool is both lightweight and strong, while still folding up small enough to fit into your pocket. An innovative "On/Off" option that lets you decide when to use the speedsafe assisted opening system. Its high-performance blade is Sandvik stainless steel to resist rusting and keep a super sharp edge for cutting. Anodized-aluminum handles are light weight for a practical knife that�s easy to slip into the pocket.

A serrated edge towards the bottom of the Cyclone�s blade allows for additional use as a sawing tool. Allowing you to saw, cut, pierce and slice just about anything that you come across on a camping trip or while out on the town.

Safety is always number one with the knives from Kershaw and Ken Onion and this knife is no exception. It comes with the SpeedSafe assisted opening system and you can even flip a roll-switch on the knife to choose between manual opening or to engage the SpeedSafe system.

Locking Liner
Locks the blade into position after the blade is deployed. To release the locking liner simply press the spring loaded lock and the blade will easily fold back into the handle.

The Knife Features:

SpeedSafe�, the patented, assisted-opening system built into many of Kershaw's best-selling Ken Onion knives. SpeedSafe assists the user to smoothly open the knife with a manual push on the blade's thumb stud or Index- Open system. (Index-Open uses a protruding portion of the blade's finger guard to give the user an alternative to the thumb stud. The user manually pulls back on the protrusion with the index finger to open the blade.)

The heart of the SpeedSafe system is its torsion bar. Closed, the torsion bar helps keep the knife closed, preventing it from being opened by "gravity." In order to open the knife, the user must apply manual pressure to the thumb stud to overcome the resistance of the torsion bar. After the blade is out of the handle, the torsion bar moves along its halfmoon track and takes over. The blade opens smoothly and locks into position, ready for use.
