Kershaw’s Fisherman’s Blade Trader Knife is durable and sharp. You won’t need to worry about this knife blade giving out on you when you’re filleting catch after catch of large fish.

This Fisherman’s Blade Trader comes with one co-polymer handle and two interchangeable Fillet blades made from 420J2 stainless steel. One blade is seven inches and the other is nine inches so you can work on different sized fish with easy maneuverability. The knife kit comes with a convenient black nylon sheath for carrying.

The blades interchangeable in this kit are so easy to change out because they use the Quick-Lock mechanism. The mechanism allows you to replace the blades in seconds so it’s no hassle at all to keep moving between two different sized blades on your knife. To change a blade push up the Quick-Lock mechanism and slide it out on the co-polymer handle. Remove the current blade from its ‘bow tie’ setting. Slide your preferred blade into place top edge first. Close the Quick-Lock mechanism and slide the blade back. Voila!

Changeable Blades
Grasp the handle with your right hand; with your forefinger, press upwards on the underside of the Quick-Lock mechanism. Then, with your thumb, push the mechanism up into the open position. The blade or tool can be removed from the “bow tie” and a new blade or tool seated onto the “bow tie” (when seating the blade or tool onto the “bow tie” make sure to guide it into place top edge first, if you attempt to start with the bottom edge of the blade or tool the locking mechanism may not return to its down position). Complete the task by returning the mechanism to its closed (down) position.
