A locking liner holds the blade in place securely when opened. No need to worry about the blade slipping out of place. When you are done using the knife you can simply release the blade for easy folding back into the handle. The ambidextrous knife can also be opened one handed with a simple push of the index finger on the knife release. It works from the build of pressure from pressing on the release allowing the blade to pop up for easy opening.
