The Kershaw OD-1 is just possibly the perfect assisted-opening pocket knife. It is a great little knife. The "flipper" operation is smooth as butter and very fast opening. The blade is very sharp, as are all Kershaw knives. Buy this one, you will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to see the OD-2.

Another solid Kershaw |

This is an excellent knife as are all of the Kershaws I have purchased. This does have a superb "flipper" system and opens better than any of the other Kershaws I have with the exception of the Tanto Blur.
The only issue I have with this knife is that the edge of the frame lock does protrude slightly beyond the forefinger indentation so it will rub your forefinger a bit, but otherwise, the grip is much like the Lahar and the Zing, except it is just textured on one side while the other side is smooth metal along with the clip.
The new "flipper" system is definitely the key selling point for this knife and it is worth the price.
