State-of-the-art Metal Injection Molding (MIM) and hot isostatic pressing systems have allowed this beautiful knife blade to come into existence. The Offset from Kershaw and Ken Onion has a wildly unique rugged geometry while also offering excellent cutting capabilities. It’s look courtesy of the two advance technological processes used in its creation, which also make this a precision blade with two bevel geometries, hollow and flat. It’s super sharp and super strong.

The blade is 440C stainless steel with a Tungsten DLC coating and the handle is made from machined Black G-10 polymer. It’s shape makes for a comfortable fit in the hand when fully opened.

Safety is a must with any knife and the Offset is not lacking. Kershaw provided the latest in SpeedSafe assisted opening system. The ‘Double Pumper’ system uses two torsion bars so the larger blade is as easy to slide open as a smaller knife would be.

 

Stud Lock
Lock release system that is contained entirely in the blade. The knife opens by pulling the kick back like most assisted opening knives today, but the lock release is contained in the blade thumbstud rather than in the handle.
