The Ripcord knife from Kershaw is a great knife for the military buff’s collection. It’s a part of the Kershaw line of tactical knives and offers the strength and stability of a fixed knife blade while also being convenient for storage. The Kershaw ‘Out the Front’ (OTF) design is the Ripcord’s big secret. The blade will slide out the front end of the knife into a secure position on any OTF knife.

The belt clip that comes with the knife doubles as an OTF deployment knob; you can easily slide the blade out using. All you need to do is rotate the handle 90 degrees and slide it backward or forward to deploy or store the knife blade.

The blade is made of Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel with a tungsten DLC coating. The handle is made of 6061-T6 anodized aluminum with Trac-Tec inserts to ensure a good, solid grip on the knife.
