Fishermen look out for this colorful Scallion knife from Kershaw and Ken Onion. The handle features a fun triple Bass portrait and hopefully the knife will draw real fish just like those to your fishing lure. Any fisherman needs a good knife and the Scallion is a great little knife to have on hand.

This little Scallion offers three great features. There is the Locking Liner, the Tip Safety Lock and the SpeedSafe assisted opening system. The Locking Liner will lock the blade into place when fully deployed and is easy to release with the press of a spring loaded button. The Tip Safety Lock will ensure that the blade remains closed when folded down so no accidental opening in your pocket clip. The SpeedSafe system makes for easy ambidextrous opening of the blade.
This little knife blade is made from 420HC stainless steel and the handle is made from 6061-T6 anodized aluminum with the Bass Scene. It only weighs in at about 2.3 ounces, just about as much as 2 1/3 paper clips!

Locking Liner
Locks the blade into position after the blade is deployed. To release the locking liner simply press the spring loaded lock and the blade will easily fold back into the handle.

Tip Safety Lock
The tip lock available on many of the Ken Onion SpeedSafe models provides added security to assure that the blade will not deploy while clipped into your pocket.

The Knife Features:

SpeedSafe�, the patented, assisted-opening system built into many of Kershaw's best-selling Ken Onion knives. SpeedSafe assists the user to smoothly open the knife with a manual push on the blade's thumb stud or Index- Open system. (Index-Open uses a protruding portion of the blade's finger guard to give the user an alternative to the thumb stud. The user manually pulls back on the protrusion with the index finger to open the blade.)

The heart of the SpeedSafe system is its torsion bar. Closed, the torsion bar helps keep the knife closed, preventing it from being opened by "gravity." In order to open the knife, the user must apply manual pressure to the thumb stud to overcome the resistance of the torsion bar. After the blade is out of the handle, the torsion bar moves along its halfmoon track and takes over. The blade opens smoothly and locks into position, ready for use.
