The Shallot is made from all stainless steel construction. It features a Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel blade and a 410 stainless steel handle, making this knife stain and rust resistant. This particular model comes with a partially serrated blade for versatility. You’ll be able to chop, slice, cut and saw your way through anything. The Shallot comes with a limited lifetime warranty. This is a knife that will provide you with a lifetime of quality service.
Excellent safety features are a part of what makes the Shallot 1840 such a great knife. It comes with the patented SpeedSafe assisted ambidextrous index-finger opener to easily slide open the blade when you need it. The knife also comes with a reversible/removable pocket clip for easy and convenient carrying. You can carry the Shallot tip up or tip down at an arm’s reach.
Frame Lock
Locks the blade into position after the blade is deployed. To release the frame lock simply press the spring loaded lock and the blade will easily fold back into the handle.
