The Kershaw Splinter knife from Kershaw offers quite a bit of style with its wood and steel design. Yet, it also offers the safety and convenience of being a fold down knife. The blade of the Splinter is AUS8A stainless steel with a handle made of decorative Quince Wood. The base layer of the Splinter is made of 420 stainless-steel.
For extra safety the Splinter is equipped with a Locking Liner which locks the blade into position when it’s fully opened. That way there is no fear of slippage when in use. To release the blade and fold it back down simply press the spring loaded lock.

Locks the blade into position after the blade is deployed. To release the locking liner simply press the spring loaded lock and the blade will easily fold back into the handle.
