The Storm II folding knife with a partially serrated blade is from Kershaw and Ken Onion. This rugged knife is a mirror image of the original Storm knife, only this one is available in a slightly different size. Storm II is about 8 1/2 inches fully opened compared to the smaller approximately 7 inches fully opened on its twin the original Storm knife. The Storm and Storm II blades are an excellent choice for those looking for a knife that will fit comfortably in their hand.
The Storm II partially serrated blade is made from Sandvik 13C26 stainless-steel for extra strength and durability. The handle of the Storm is made of 410 stainless-steel with Trac-Tec inserts. These inserts ensure that you'll keep a good grip on your knife even in the wettest or most slippery conditions.
The opening system on the Storm II allows for easy ambidextrous opening of the knife blade. The Storm II knife also comes with a Locking Liner that locks the blade into place when fully opened. The locking liner is released with a press on the spring loaded lock.
Locking Liner Locks the blade into position after the blade is deployed. To release the locking liner simply press the spring loaded lock and the blade will easily fold back into the handle.
