1670TBLKST - Tanto Blur from Kershaw and Ken Onion, Black Aluminum Handle w/Trac-Tec Insert, Black Partially Serrated Edge Blade 

The Tanto Blur from Kershaw and Ken Onion is a slight variation on the Blur knife. This blade has increased usability in unique or emergency situations. Plus you'll love having the partially serrated edge to use for sawing through materials or scraping.

The knife blade is made from Sandvik 13C26 stainless-steel with a Tungsten DLC Coating to make it very strong and long-lasting. The handle is 6061-T6 anodized aluminum with Trac-Tec inserts and a 410 stainless steel liner. You'll be able to use this knife effectively in an emergency and keep a secure grip on the handle in wet or slippery conditions.

It's also a convenient knife with a changeable pocket clip. The Tanto Blur handle is drilled for left and right hand clip carry. A Locking Liner locks the blade into position after it's been fully deployed. Plus the SpeedSafe patented assisted opening system makes for easy ambidextrous opening of the Blur.

Locking Liner
Locks the blade into position after the blade is deployed. To release the locking liner simply press the spring loaded lock and the blade will easily fold back into the handle.

The Knife Features:
SpeedSafeŽ, the patented, assisted-opening system built into many of Kershaw's best-selling Ken Onion knives. SpeedSafe assists the user to smoothly open the knife with a manual push on the blade's thumb stud.
 
The heart of the SpeedSafe system is its torsion bar. Closed, the torsion bar helps keep the knife closed, preventing it from being opened by "gravity." In order to open the knife, the user must apply manual pressure to the thumb stud to overcome the resistance of the torsion bar. After the blade is out of the handle, the torsion bar moves along its halfmoon track and takes over. The blade opens smoothly and locks into position, ready for use.

I bought my Kershaw tactical blur about 2 months ago and have used it everyday. Both my grandsons brought me oak branches for me to put points on (so they could pick up trash) and after whittling the points on these branches, the blade showed no sign of use. To this day the blade shows no sign of use. It's as sharp as the day I took the knife out of the box. This is the most incredible knife I've ever owned and I won't ever own any other knife than a Kershaw. The knife has never failed to open or lock but that blade is incredible.

In the world of law enforcement there are 3 things that I cannot live without 1. My Glock 2. My TAC Flashlight and 3. a rock solid knife! After buying the Kershaw Blur TAC knife it is safe to say that I will never own any other from this point on.
