Another knife with a name similar to a classic drink is the Wild Turkey. It you are a fan of the whiskey, then you’ll probably be a fan of the knife. This knife is a Kershaw classic with a simple design and sharp utility blade. It makes a great pocket knife for hunting or just whittling the time away.
The knife blade is made from AUS6A stainless steel. The Wild Turkey handle features a light red Rosewood inlay with stainless steel satin finished bolsters. All in all this is a very light-weight knife coming in at about 2.2 ounces, making it a great little pocket knife.
For added safety, Kershaw has featured on the Wild Turkey, a Back Lock. The Back Lock locks the knife blade into position when it’s fully opened. It’s very easy to release the knife blade by simply pressing down on the spring loaded release and folding the blade down.
Back Lock
Locks the blade into position after the blade is deployed. To release the back lock simply press the spring loaded lock and the blade will easily fold back into the handle.
