Returns and General Store Policy:

The use of this site is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below and under the  "Terms of Use" section. Please read them carefully. Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Your placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Your submittal of any payment to The Kershaw Store indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions shall void any previous terms or conditions included with any order, whether or not such terms, or conditions, were signed by a Kershaw Store representative. The Kershaw Store reserves the right to make changes to this site and these terms and conditions at any time without any notice to our customers. Usually an order will ship within 24 hours or the next business day. You must be at least 18 years of age to order any product from this site. It is your responsibility to check all local laws concerning the ownership, use and possession of any item we offer. By placing an order, you agree that you are of legal age, that you have read our terms & conditions, and that you take full responsibility for obeying all federal, state and local laws, restrictions, and regulations! You, and not The Kershaw Store, are solely responsible for any claims resulting from violation of these laws and/or regulations.

The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway manages the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the credit card and electronic check processing networks (see an online payments diagram). The company adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing, including:

Privacy Policy:

When you place an order with us at The Kershaw Store, we ask you to provide information to complete your order by filling out and submitting an online form. This information includes your name, telephone numbers, mailing address, e-mail address and credit card information. All information regarding our online customers is stored on a highly secured server that is not accessible through the Internet. This information will never be sold or given to anyone for any reasons. Here at The Kershaw Store we respect your privacy.

Form of Payment:  

The Kershaw Store accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number. Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order. All funds are considered US currency rates.
The Kershaw Store will also accept US Postal Money Orders for domestic orders only. When sending a money order please make payment payable to "Tamco Commerce, Inc." Orders are processed upon receipt and verification of payment. I am sorry but we do not accept personal checks of any kind.
 
Gift Certificates: A gift certificate that is issued by The Kershaw Store is redeemable for merchandise purchased only at our website and is good for a period one year from the purchase date. Any outstanding balance cannot be redeemed for cash or applied to a purchase from any other stores. We will issue a refund for an unused gift certificate providing that it is done within 30 days from the purchase date. After 30 days we will not be able to issue a refund of any kind.
 

Return, Shipping and Exchange Policy:

The following is our store policy:

  • As a company policy, The Kershaw Store does not ship to New York State.
  • The Kershaw Store reserves the right to change the shipping method at our discretion from other than what the customer selected. Some examples are product location, high dollar value (Dollar value is determined by The Kershaw Store) orders. The vast majority of the time we ship as requested.
  • Please contact us first for any order that is incorrect or defective prior to returning the order to our warehouse.
  • If we send out the incorrect item we will make it right. In the event we have to ship out another order due to our error, we may need to charge your credit card for the replacement order including shipping. Once we receive back the first order, you will receive a full refund for the replacement order. When retuning an item and if available please use the original shipping container and provide all documentation that came with the item. 
  • If the item is defective we will replace it as long as it is within 30 days from the purchase date. After that we ask you contact the manufacturer. 
  • We will accept returns/exchanges within 30 days from the purchase date. If you wish to make a return or exchange please inform us what you would like to do and return your order to the address listed below:

  • All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee of the purchase price. If you are making an exchange the restocking fee is waived. All returns and exchanges must be within 30 days from the purchase date.
  • Prior to returning your first order to be exchanged for the new items(s), please go ahead place another order for the new item(s). This will prevent a restocking fee from being charged. If the return is received and a replacement order has not been made, our warehouse is unable to make the connection between the two seperate transactions and a restocking will be charged.
  • Please do not use a soft style pouch or envelope to return your knives since this does not fully protect the knife and packaging. Please only use a box. 
  • All returns/exchanges must include all manufacturers' packaging and the item must be 100% resalable as new.  
  • Used or damaged merchandise will not be accepted. If any item(s) is returned and not 100% resalable as new a 25% restocking fee will apply. 
  • Please ship your items back to us fully insured with tracking capability. 
  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.  
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless it is our error as stated above. 
  • If your order was shipped with a Free Shipping offer, there will be a shipping charge applied if the item is returned. 
  • No returns/exchanges after 30 days from the purchase date. If an order is returned after 30 thirty days from the purchase date without our prior knowledge and approval a 15% restocking fee will be assessed.


The Kershaw Store reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without notification.

Address Change after shipment and Lost or Refused Shipments:

 

1. If an order is returned to our warehouse due to an incorrect delivery address we will need to reship. The customer will be charged an additional shipping fee. If the customer elects not to reship the order, then the returned package will be treated as a return. The shipping fee from the first shipment is non refundable plus a 10% processing fee of the purchase price will apply. If the error is due to our mistake then we will reship at no additional cost to the customer.

 

2. If you do not receive your order within the specified shipping time selected you will need to contact us within two weeks from the purchase date. If nothing is heard within 30 days from the purchase date the order will be considered final and we will be unable to provide a refund or replacement.
 
3.  Any package refused for delivery or any package that was requested by the customer to be held at a UPS delivery hub and then returned to The Kershaw Store will incur a 20% restocking fee plus if shipping was free the outbound and return shipping fees will also be assessed prior to issuing a refund. 
 
4.  If you provide the wrong, or an incomplete or an invalid shipping address. We cannot be held responsible if your order is delivered to the provided address, or lost within the U.S. Postal or UPS systems. We will attempt to retrieve the order with the selected carrier. If we are unable to retrieve or if we never receive back your order. It will be considered final and we will not be able to provide a replacement or refund of any kind.

Order Cancellation:

The Kershaw Store reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason without notice to the customer. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, The Kershaw Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. The Kershaw Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, The  Kershaw Store will  immediately issue a credit to your credit card used to make the purchase.

Sales Tax:   

We are required to charge 5.0% sales tax on all orders shipped to Virginia addresses. No tax will be charged on orders shipped outside the state of Virginia.
