Returns, Exchanges, and Warranty

1. What happens if I receive the wrong knife?

  • Please contact us first for any order that is incorrect prior to returning the order to our warehouse.
  • If we send out the incorrect knife we will make it right.
  • In the event we have to ship out another order due to our error, we may need to charge your credit card for the replacement order including shipping.
  • Once we receive back the first order, you will receive a full refund for the replacement order.
  • When returning the knife and if available please use the original shipping container. Please no soft style pouches, as they do not fully protect the knife and box.
  • Please return all packaging (Plastic Bag) and paperwork that came with the knife.
  • Please just do not return the knife alone, as it will affect your refund.
  • All exchanges must be 100% resalable as new.

2. What happens if the knife received arrives defective?

  • Please contact us first within 3 business days from receipt prior to returning the order to our warehouse. The receipt date is the date that tracking is showing delivered.
  • We will provide a replacement providing the knife has not been abused or used in a manner a knife is not intend to be used.
  • The Kershaw Store will have the final say in this manner. In short if the knife is not operating correctly there will not be a problem in making an exchange.
  • When we ship a replacement knife, we may need to charge your credit card for the replacement order including shipping.
  • Once we receive back the first order, you will receive a full refund for the replacement order.

3. What happens if I want to exchange one knife for another?

  • All exchanges must be received within 30 days from the purchase date.
  • Please go ahead and place a second order for the knife or knives you would like.
  • When returning the knife or knives and if available please use the original shipping container. Please no soft style pouches, as they do not fully protect the knife and box.
  • Please return all packaging (Plastic Bag) and paperwork that came with the knife.
  • Please just do not return the knife alone, as it will affect your refund.
  • All exchanges must be 100% resalable as new.
  • Used or damaged merchandise will not be accepted. If any item is returned and is not 100% resalable as new, up to a 25% restocking fee will apply.
  • If you order shipped with “Free Shipping” the original shipping charge will be subtracted from your refund. If you are returning a partial order there will not be a shipping charge.
  • Once the knife or knives are received a refund will be applied via the method the original payment was received.

4. What happens if I just want to return my order?

  • All returns must be received within 30 days from the purchase date.

  • Please return all packaging (Plastic Bag) and paperwork that came with the knife.
  • Please just do not return the knife alone, as it will affect your refund.
  • All exchanges must be 100% resalable as new.
  • Used or damaged merchandise will not be accepted. If any item is returned and is not 100% resalable as new, up to a 25% restocking fee will apply.
  • Any shipping cost you paid to upgrade from out free shipping is non-refundable. 
  • Once the knife or knives are received a refund will be applied via the method the original payment was received.

General Notes:

  • We do charge a 10% restocking fee for a normal return. We do this to cover the cost of outgoing shipping we paid to send you the knife, credit card or PayPal fees, and the processing of the return. If you make an exchange for an item of equal or greater value the restocking fee is waived. There is still a charge for the outgoing shipping charge we paid to send you the knife.
  • We will waive the restocking fee if you agree to accept store credit for your return. The original shipping charge that we paid to send your item will still be subtracted from the available store credit.
  • Once the knife is received you will get an email notification of the dollar amount of store credit that is available for a future purchase. Please note if you do not already have a The Kershaw Store store account we will establish one for you. Without a store account we cannot keep track of your available funds.
  • It is suggested that you ship your items back to us fully insured with tracking capability for your protection. If we do not receive it, we are unable to provide a refund.
  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
  • If an order is returned after 30 thirty days from the purchase date without our prior knowledge and approval up to a 25% restocking fee will be assessed.
  • The Kershaw Store reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without notification.

Warranty Work: 

  • Our return policy is a 30 day policy from the date the order is placed. All conditions above apply. If an item breaks or is need of repair after the 30 day period you will need to contact Kershaw Knives the manufacturer for any warranty repairs. 
  • Warranty services are solely at the discretion of Kershaw Knives.
  • Please do not send the item back to us as we are not a repair facility, nor will we be able to replace it.
  • We unable to forward the item to Kershaw Knives on your behalf nor will we be able to return the item back to you without you paying the return shipping.
