Kershaw takes the popular Link to a higher level with CPM 20CV blade steel and a new machined and anodized aluminum handle. And yes, this Link is still an amazing value and is proudly made in the USA. This premium blade steel offers superior hardness, corrosion resistance, toughness, wear resistance for top edge retention. The aluminum handle is anodized in olive green and the machined pattern gives it a look that’s a real departure from earlier Links, as well as providing enhanced grip.

    Great Knife

This knife is the best deal that you can get on a 20CV blade. Blade is excellent, doesn't come razor sharp but sharp enough to sharpen a pencil.
Although a good deal, this knife is not perfect. The thumb flipper although serrated, is somewhat small to comfortably and securely open the blade. There is no thumb stud to open.
Lock is very secure, very positive and locks with a nice feedback, disengaging is superb and in multiple stages to prevent blade from flipping and cutting you.
You can change the pocket clip to any other side, and it is installed for right-handed person, clip helps in opening by adding more grip against the force needed to press on the thumb flipper. If you are a lefty you may want to change it to the other side.
Opening the blade is spring assisted that takes over from about 2/3 of the way. Can be opened one handed, but not by a woman or a small child. It requires some force to press on a small space and pressing it more than 20 times in a row, hurts the pads on your fingers.
Length is just great, the perfect size for EDC, not too long to be bulky for carrying and not too short to be insufficient when working with large items, large packages, slicing wider fabrics and materials. It looks sturdy and it is very very sturdy. Sharpened it, took my time and it is razor sharp now and edge retention is phenomenal. Love that steel. At that price you should definitely get it. I was skeptical about the legitimacy of the store, as I have never dealt with them before, but item was genuine, at an unbeatable price, and shipping was lightning fast. This has become my favorite store and will definitely buy again. That's why they have so many items out of stock.
